Reflection

My project was a success, albeit a few missteps and repairs.  I loved how it turned out, but of course there's always things that could be improved.  For one, it meets the initial goal of replicating what Pyrrha looks like and makes me feel like I can go slay some Grimm (those are the enemies in the show).  Secondly, I know how to use different and more complex materials with my cosplay now.  Perhaps with this knowledge, I could compete in costume contests.  As much as I love the costume and everything that went along with it, it does have problems.  I had to cut my headdress and pin it to my wig because I failed to measure my head plus the wig.  I only measured my head.  The construction process was even more difficult because there was a steep learning curve, as I only had myself and the internet to figure out how to work with worbla, a thermal plastic.  When I wear my costume, it is very difficult to walk in and move comfortably.  I quickly learned that full leg armor with knee attachments, a corset, arm braces, a headdress, a neck cuff, and three inch heeled boots do not make a very comfortable outfit.  As poorly as it went in some places, I would never change my experience for anything.  I still love cosplay and this is only the beginning of what I know I can do.
