ABOUT
I've been designing costumes since I was a 16 year old junior in high school and I made my first costume for the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con. It was a simple steampunk attire with a skirt, stockings, boots, a blouse, and a vest, The first costume pieces I made were decorating a top hat and painting a water gun. For the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con, I was a casual Supergirl and for the 2016 SDCC, I made a Yang Xiao Long costume, from RWBY, complete with handmade gauntlets and a Lucy Heartfilia costume, from Fairy Tail, with every accessory handmade. For this project, I want to make a Pyrrha Nikos costume from RWBY and try to use less sewing and expand on prop makng.
Cosplay is more of a hobby than a career choice. Making costumes allows me to share my nerdy love with other people that have the same interests as me and I love looking and getting inspired by other cosplayers. I hope that the work that I do inspires someone to try this hobby and join the community with open arms.
